To the Reader Who Unveils Me
“All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.” (Article 1, Universal Declaration of Human Rights)
For a long time, I tried to measure my life in numbers. They have always brought me a sense of clarity and freedom, even more than words ever could. Numbers remind me that freedom can be structured, achievable, and real.
Recently, I decided to embark on a new journey—to pursue three essential forms of freedom: financial, geographical, and temporal. There comes a point in life—and if it hasn’t come to you yet, it surely will—when you no longer want others to hold the reins of your destiny, your spirit, or your time.
Do not let fear dictate your path. Claim what is truly yours by right. Let go of fleeting distractions and shallow desires. Choose freedom, because if something diminishes who you are, then it was never meant for you. Life should feel light, not heavy. Shall we walk together?
